Marco Galinha has been a vice-chairman of ANJE since January 2017, having been a member of the previous national board (between 2013 and 2017). He is also the CEO of Portugal Fashion, an ANJE project devoted to promoting national fashion.
He is the CEO of the Bel group, a holding that has 300 employees, with companies in different areas: vending market, real estate, production of traditional coffee machines and grinders. Recently, the group opened the Innovation Centre – a space devoted to technological innovation. The Bel group is in a phase of international expansion and has reached markets such as Germany, the United States of America, France, Brazil, England, Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco.
Marco Galinha was born in Rio Maior in 1977 and grew up in Benedita, in Alcobaça, Portugal. In 1995, he attended Instituto Superior Técnico, studying Computer Engineering. Two years later, he founded his first company and began working exclusively in the world of business. In 2007, he attended Harvard Business School to specialise in Marketing and Management. In 2016, he was on the panel of investors on the TV programme, Shark Tank Portugal.
