Bnesis gets 400K€ in funding and goes to Open Banking Lab


Bnesis, startup responsible for a solution that combines multiple (regional and global) external services in a single API was one of the projects involved on the 1st badge of SPA – Startup Porto Accelerator and closed a 400.000€ investment round with BValue C and SpeedUp Group. After accelerating 12 weeks in the tech program designed by ANJE – Portuguese Association of Young Entrepreneurs and INESC TEC, the startup gets the smart-money needed to expand on the global market and was selected to the Open Banking Lab accelerator.

The 400.000€ will be used to refine Bnesis product, expand the team and start the scaleup process, with a special focus on the negotiation with German and Polish banks. The software developed by Bnesis allows the combination of scoring engines, social media, payment, banking and e-commerce services in a unique platform for various needs and industries. In result, companies get dozens of systems simultaneously, save time and money on integrations and their support.

The BValue C and SpeedUp Group intervention will exceed the injection of capital. The investors will contribute to the project growth with optimization of the sales process, support in the market needs interpretations, transmission of relevant contacts, databases and financial data.

Besides the successful investment round, the project was also selected for the Open Banking Lab, capacitation and acceleration programme for fintech startups coordinated by OTP Bank and the National Bank of Ukraine. The participation on the programme grants to Bnesis the possibility of earn 10.000$ for development and the opportunity to get funded in the maximum of 1.000.000€.
